Our client, a well-established law firm located in downtown Montréal, is currently seeking a Junior Associate with approximately 1 to 3 years of litigation experience gained in private practice. Experience or knowledge in insurance law and civil or professional liability would be considered a strong asset.

In this role, you will benefit from the mentorship of seasoned senior lawyers and work on sophisticated, high-quality files.

YOUR ROLE:

• Work on a wide range of matters involving litigation, insurance law, and civil and professional liability;
• Draft legal opinions, pleadings, and court proceedings;
• Develop and implement complex legal strategies to effectively manage files;
• Conduct case law and legal research;

• Maintain exceptional client service and foster strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

   

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Member in good standing of the Québec Bar;
• Approximately 1 to 3 years of litigation experience;
• Experience or knowledge in insurance law and civil or professional liability would be a significant asset;
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a dynamic personality;
• Team-oriented, bilingual, and possessing strong communication skills.
