Our client, awell-established law firm on Montréal’s South Shore, is looking to add a lawyer withtwo to five years of family law experience to support the continued growth of its clientele.

This opportunity is ideal for a professional seeking tojoin a close-knit firm where collaboration, respect, and inclusion are core values. In this role, you will manage a variety of family law matters, from the initial client consultation through to representation before the courts.

You will become part of astructured and well-organized team that encourages knowledge sharing,teamwork, and professional development. You will be actively involved in all stages of file management, including drafting pleadings, conducting negotiations, participating in settlement conferences, and appearing before the courts.

YOUR ROLE:

• Analyze the legal issues submitted;

• Carry out legislative and jurisprudential research in family law;

• Meet with clients;

• Collaborate with senior Lawyers to develop strategies;

• Draft legal opinions and procedures;

• Conduct out-of-court negotiations or pleadings. 

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law;

• Membership in good standing of the Quebec Bar;

• Approximately 2 to 5 years' experience in family law;

• Good communication skills, empathy and thoroughness.
