Our client, a large and recognized leader in its field, is currently looking for a Paralegal with experience in securities and corporate governance to join the Corporate Secretariat team.

YOUR ROLE:

Among your responsibilities, your tasks will include:

• Organize meetings of board of directors and various committees, ensure the smooth running of meetings and follow-up;

• Drafting agendas, minutes and resolutions;

• Electronically file various corporate and securities regulatory documents via TMX Linx, SEDAR and SEDI;

• Assisting in updating circulars, proxies and annual information forms;

• Assisting in the management of executive compensation plans and the preparation of documentation for public company share capital files.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• DCS in paralegal technology or any other relevant education/experience combination will be considered;

•  Experience in corporate and commercial law;

• Knowledge of securities law, SEDAR and SEDI are an asset;

• High level of discretion and autonomy;

• Priority management and excellent interpersonal skills.
