Our client, a recognized leader in the entertainment industry, is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join its team.

Reporting directly to the Vice President, Legal Affairs, you will play a strategic and cross-functional role, working closely with business teams and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements (service contracts, procurement, equipment leasing  and sales, leases, licenses, etc.);

• Advise various internal departments (HR, procurement, marketing, finance, IT);

• Participate in litigation management;

• Review, comment on and negotiate large-scale public and private tender documents;

• Contribute to privacy, insurance and internal policy matters.

Profile Sought:

• Member of the Quebec Bar;

• Approximately 5+ years of experience in business law, ideally gained at a leading law firm or within a large organization’s  legal department;

• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills;

• Autonomous, detail-oriented and resourceful;

• Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
