Our client — a large international company headquartered in Quebec with an impressive portfolio of brands — is seeking a litigation lawyer with at least 4 years of experience, who is motivated, autonomous, and passionate about legal challenges.

You will be involved in a variety of matters, particularly in commercial litigation, including contractual disputes, commercial leasing issues, franchise matters, and insolvency proceedings.

In this key role, you will be responsible for:

• Managing a portfolio of commercial litigation files in Quebec independently;

• Representing the company before the courts, including in complex matters;

• Playing a leading role in developing strategy and handling files from inception through to resolution or judgment;

• Arguing motions and actively participating in hearings;

• Working closely with internal stakeholders to define legal strategies and objectives;

• Preparing, analyzing, and presenting evidence.

Profile Sought :

• Member of the Quebec Bar AND approximately 4 to 8 years of litigation experience;

• Autonomous, detail-oriented, and strong ability to manage priorities;

• Experience representing clients before the courts;

• Strategic mindset and strong business acumen.
