Our client, a boutique firm established for several decades in the Greater Montreal area, is seeking anotary interested in developing a practice inbusiness law. Business development is not required for this role, and the firm may be open to arecently commissioned notary. The selected candidate will benefit frommentorship provided byexperienced professionals.

YOUR ROLE:
Working with the existing team of notaries and lawyers, you will be required to:

• Work on financing, project development, and commercial real estate files;

• Advise businesses and private and institutional investment funds;

• Manage commercial real estate transactions;

• Draft deeds of sale, mortgage deeds, contracts, etc.;

• Work on financing and asset protection/estate planning matters;

• Build and maintain strong client relationships;

• Coordinate financing with external parties to facilitate transactions.

   

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Hold a Bachelor of Laws and a postgraduate degree in Notarial Law;

• Member in good standing of the Chambre des notaires du Québec;

• Approximately one year of professional experience as a notary;

• Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a desire to be part of a team.
