Security Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilledSecurity Engineerbased out of our Bangalore office. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security technologies across the organization, ensuring the protection of our systems and data. The position will haveglobal coverage, supporting and safeguarding IT operations in all of our offices worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Firewall Management: Administer, configure, and monitorCisco FirePower, Cisco Meraki, Check Point firewalls andAzure Firewall, ensuring optimal performance and security.

• Secure Access: Support and maintainCisco Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) infrastructure for secure remote and cloud access across all regions.

• SOC Integration: Collaborate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) team to ensure effective integration, monitoring, and global incident response.

• SIEM experience (MS Sentinel and other 3rd party tools).

• Threat Management: Conduct proactive security monitoring, incident investigation, and remediation across worldwide offices.

• Penetration Testing: Plan, coordinate, and execute regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments, addressing findings with local and global IT teams.

• Compliance & Standards: Ensure systems and processes align withISO 27001 and other international security frameworks.

• Policy & Documentation: Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures that apply consistently across all offices.

• Collaboration: Partner with IT infrastructure, cloud, and application teams in Barcelona and globally to embed security best practices.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with evolving security threats, tools, and practices, and recommend improvements to strengthen the organization’s global security posture.

Requirements

• Location: Based inBangalore, with responsibility for supporting all offices worldwide.

• Experience: Minimum 4–5 years in IT security engineering

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong expertise inCisco FirePower, Checkpoint firewall and Azure firewall administration.

  • Knowledge ofCisco SASE solutions for secure cloud and remote access.

  • Experience withSOC integration, SIEM platforms, and incident response workflows.

  • Proven ability to conductpenetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and remediation.

  • Familiarity withISO 27001 and other global security/compliance standards.

• Analytical Skills: Ability to diagnose complex security issues and recommend effective solutions.

• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with global teams and present security findings.

• Certifications (preferred): Cisco Security (CCNP Security, CCIE Security), Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE), Azure Security certification, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, or equivalent.
