👨‍🍳 Sous Chef – Penrith

We are looking for an experiencedSous Chef to join a small, welcoming country pub in thePenrith area. This is animmediate start withongoing work available, andaccommodation is provided.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen

• Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to a consistent standard

• Helping to manage and motivate the kitchen team

• Ensuring food hygiene, health & safety and cleanliness standards are maintained

• Assisting with stock control, ordering and kitchen organisation

• Taking responsibility for the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence

Previous Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie experience is essential, along with a good work ethic and the ability to work well in a busy kitchen.
