Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dedicatedHouse Assistant to join a warm, welcoming and well-established private household. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in supporting a busy home, enjoys varied tasks throughout the day, and thrives in a professional yet family-focused environment.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, highly trusted position within a fully staffed household, working closely with other long-serving team members. The successful candidate will play an important part in ensuring the smooth running of the home through consistent, high-quality support.
Working pattern: 5 days per week
Hours: 7:00am – 7:00pm
Days off: Monday & Tuesday
Weekends: Required
Team structure: You will work alongside a Chef, Cleaner, Gardeners and a Security team
Key Responsibilities
Providing daily assistance across the home to support the family’s routine
Carrying out preparation tasks such as basic kitchen prep, organising areas of the home, and assisting with daily setup
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across shared spaces
Working cooperatively with other household staff to ensure tasks are completed seamlessly
Supporting with occasional pet-related duties (feeding, letting out, general oversight)
Adapting to the needs of the household with a professional and proactive approach

3 friendly dogs – applicants must be confident and comfortable around small dogs
A warm, respectful environment where staff retention is strong and teamwork is valued
Accommodation available free of charge, offering comfort and privacy for those wishing to live in
Salary & Benefits
Break structure:
½ hour morning break
½ hour afternoon break
1 hour afternoon break (unpaid)
Annual salary equivalent: £40,000 – £45,000
Enhanced DBS background check required
Full referencing undertaken
