We’re currently recruiting for aNight Porter to join a hotel in the centre of Carlisle. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone reliable, professional, and customer-focused who enjoys working independently during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests arriving or departing overnight.

Ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and the premises during night hours.

Handle late check-ins and early check-outs efficiently.

Assist with setting up for breakfast service or events as required.

Maintain cleanliness and presentation in public areas.

Complete regular security and safety checks throughout the building.

Respond to guest queries and provide exceptional customer service at all times.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a night porter or in a similar hotel front-of-house role is preferred.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and handle night-time responsibilities confidently.

Reliable, trustworthy, and well-presented.

Flexibility to work10:30pm – 7:00am, 5 days per week- week 1 Wednesday-Sunday
