Start date: Week commencing 21st April
Shifts: Daytime only | Flexible days available
Location: Darlington
Pay: £13.68ph  | Weekly pay

Role Overview:
This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a caring attitude. You’ll play a vital part in supporting the kitchen team to deliver safe, nutritious meals to residents.

Key Duties Include:

Assisting with basic food preparation under the guidance of the kitchen team

Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment

Keeping the kitchen, storerooms, and food prep areas clean and hygienic

Receiving and storing deliveries correctly

Supporting with waste disposal and recycling

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and following health & safety and food hygiene regulations

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar kitchen or catering assistant role preferred

An understanding of food hygiene and safety standards

Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

Compassionate and respectful attitude towards residents
