We are seeking a temporary Sous to work in a busy tourist pub in the lake district, this job is for an immediate start and offering free live in. As relief sous chef at this pub wiht rooms, you will be able to start straight away and hit the ground running. As relief sous chef you will be part of a team of 6 working 5/7 days.

About the Role:

Support and lead the kitchen team in the Head chefs absence, ensuring the delivery of pub menus

Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation

Maintain hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen

Manage stock levels and order supplies as needed

Collaborate with the management team to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Sous or Head in a similar high volume establishment

Strong leadership and organisational skills

Ability to work efficiently under pressure

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Reliable and punctual, with a passion for creating exceptional dishes
