About Team:TheEnterprise Technology & Operations (ETO) team partners closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to define, manage, test, validate, and deliver the strategic direction and operational excellence of enterprise applications and systems at Thermo Fisher Scientific. 

Our enterprise applications support business-critical functions such as order management and fulfillment, manufacturing operations, new product development and launches, sales and customer relationship management, data and document management, and enterprise business intelligence. The ETO team plays a key role in ensuring these systems are reliable, scalable, and aligned with the company’s global business 

Job Summary 

We are seekinga5+years’experiencedSenior Salesforce Developer with strong technical expertise and a proven ability to design, build, and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience across Salesforce Lightning, Apex, integrations, and cloud solutions, with the ability to lead development efforts, support production environments, and collaborate closely with business stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes aligned with organizational goals. 

Salesforce.com developer will be responsible for working with the business analyst teams to convert the given business requirements into technical solutions and implement them in the salesforce platform. Is also responsible for documenting and implementing the best practices in the system to ensure the stability of the system.  

Key Responsibilities 

Salesforce Development & Solution Delivery 

• Design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions acrossSales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Health Cloud. 

• Build and enhance user experiences usingLightning Web Components (LWC) andAura Components. 

• Develop and maintain custom solutions usingApex,Triggers, Controllers, Test Methods,Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs. 

• Implement automation usingFlows, Process Builder, workflows, and approval processes to improve business efficiency. 

• Experience inApex coding to implement the complex business logicwithin the Governor Limits enforced by Salesforce. 

• Strong knowledgeofAdministration setup,Apex,LWC and experience with different SFDC development tools likeForce.com,Eclipse IDE and integration tools likeInformatica, Mulesoft. 

• Experience in writing test classes and test methods to ensuremaximum code coverage in production instance. 

• Experience in integration of Salesforce.com applications with other applications with an emphasis ofWeb Services/XML. 

• Experience in working with Cloud Computing / Saas technologies. 

• Extensive experience indesigningCustom Objects, Custom Fields, Pick List, Role based Page Layouts,Automation Flows, Validation Rules, Approval Processes, Custom Tabs, Custom Reports, Report folders, report extractions to various formats, design ofCustom Dynamic Pages, Record Types, Dashboards, and Email generation according to application requirements. 

• Experience inSalescloud, Service cloud, Custom Cloud, Chatter and App Exchange applications. 

• Having administrationConfig experience on CRM applications like data exports& imports, application support, security administration, CMC maintenance, and release management. 

• Experience in Designing and Buildinguser interfaces, frameworks, components, navigation elements and customization for an extensive, highly interactive cloud-based business application. 

• Designed and Developed/Published variousInbound/Outbound Web services to enable real time integrations. 

• Functional Expertise inSalesforce Automation (SFA), Marketing Automation and Case Management. 

• Extensive knowledgeof Salesforce setup menu, Configuration, Custom application Development, Administration,Data Migration and Deployment of applications to Force.com platform. 

• Experience in developing anintegrated Quality Management system on Salesforce.com Platform. 

• Efficient in implementingPartner or Customer Communities modulesfor Salesforce. 

• Experience inBatch Apex andSchedule Apex Development. 

• Extensive Experience in data migration and integration usingData loader Utility. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with effective troubleshooting mechanisms and highly adaptable to different work environments 

Integrations & Architecture 

• Hands-on experience withDesign and implement integrations usingREST and SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, and other middleware platforms. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve integration challenges and ensure seamless data exchange with external systems. 

• Ensure solutions follow Salesforce best practices forsecurity, sharing models, and compliance. 

• Expertise in querying salesforce databases using SOQL & SOSL queries using Force.com Explorer. 

• Experience in web technologies like HTML, XML, CSS, JSP, JavaScript, and SOAP. 

• Have end to end knowledge on Agile Methodology, worked with Scrum Masters, IM PMs on requirements. 

• Strong Knowledge in implementing DesignPatterns (Creational,Structural,Behavioral). 

Deployment & Environment Management 

• Manage deployments and version control usingChange Sets, GitHub, Bitbucket,Flexdeploy,VS Code, and ANT. 

• Coordinate and support regular release cycles, including deployment readiness reviews and stakeholdersignoffs. 

• Provide technical leadership during production releases and post-deployment support. 

Production Support & Stakeholder Collaboration 

• Lead day-to-dayproduction support activities for global user communities. 

• Act as a Salesforce Subject Matter Expert (SME) for business and technical teams. 

• Analyzed Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Support business processes used by Salesforce.com and recommended ways to improve their processes. 

• Collaborate directly with clients and business stakeholders to gather requirements, propose solutions, and ensure successful delivery. 

Required Skills & Qualifications 

Salesforce Expertise 

• Strong experience with Salesforce Lightning (LWC & Aura), Apex, and Visualforce. 

• Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Health Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Managed Packages. 

• Expertise in Salesforce security model, profiles, roles, permission sets, and data access controls. 

• Experience with CPQ, Sites, Communities, and Mobile Publisherare a plus. 

Integration & Cloud Technologies 

• Experience with REST and SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, and integration patterns. 

• Exposure to Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud-basedarchitecture is preferred. 

Tools & Methodologies 

• Strong experience with version control and CI/CD practices. 

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery models. 

• Ability to manage modules or projects independently while mentoring junior developers. 

Certifications (Required / Preferred) 

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (PD1) 

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (PDII) 

• Salesforce Certified AI Associate 

• Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist 

• Enterprise ChatGPT 

Candidate Requirement:  

• Education & Experience levels:BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering,Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field. 
  Salesforce.com Platform Developer certification is preferred 

Knowledge Required:Salesforce.com development,APEX Programming  

Skills:Salesforce.com developer, SOQL, Triggers, APEX Programming,HTML, XML, CSS, JSP, JavaScript, DL, SOAP ,VF Pages, Lightening experience is a plus. Webserivce and Integration experience is a plus.
