Gas Plant Maintenance Technician

Position Summary
The Gas Plant Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment used in landfill gas collection and renewable natural gas (RNG) operations. This role helps ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of compressors, blowers, pumps, valves, piping systems, and related plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on gas plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Inspect and repair compressors, pumps, blowers, valves, and associated equipment.
• Monitor plant performance and identify operational issues.
• Complete work orders, maintenance records, and inspection reports.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with equipment installations and plant upgrades.
• Support emergency repairs and on-call maintenance activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in industrial, manufacturing, gas processing, RNG, landfill gas, oil & gas, or related environments preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with electrical systems, motors, controls, and instrumentation is a plus.
• Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
