Digital Data Engineer - CMMS

Your responsibilities

• ​Act as a project lead for data-related initiatives, defining scope, planning activities, and ensuring timely delivery. 

• Drive the implementation and enforcement of Data Quality Standards (DQS) for assets, items, and maintenance data. 

• Lead and coordinate data creation and data quality improvement initiatives. 

• Collect, validate, and structuremaintenance data generated during vessel newbuild and fleet operations.

• Ensure maintenance data is accurately transferred from various sources into our maintenance management systems.

• Collaborate closely with reliability and maintenance expertsto translate maintenance requirements intosystem solutions.

• Identify opportunities to leverage digital technologies and AI-driven solutions toimprove maintenance data managementand decision-making.

• Contribute to the development of procedures that improve data accuracy, consistency, and long-term sustainability.

• Translate business needsinto clear data requirements through stakeholder engagements to data structures.

​​Your profile

• You hold aMaster’s degree in Marine Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, IT, or a related field.

• You have at least3 years of professional experience in a data, engineering, maintenance, or asset management environment.

• You have a strong interest inmaintenance, asset reliability, and technical operations.

• You have experience working with large datasets and are comfortable querying and analyzing data using tools such asSQL, Power BI, etc.

• You have solid understanding of the principles of datagovernance, datastewardship, dataquality, and structured data management.

• You are analytical, curious, and enjoy investigating how data supports operational decision-making.

• You possessstrong project coordination skills and can engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Experience with maintenance management or asset management systems such asMAS9, Maximo, AMOS, TM Master, SAP, or similar solutions is highly valued.

• Knowledge ofAI, digitalization initiatives, or data-driven asset management is considered an asset.

• You are not expected to be a software developer or programmer; the focus is on data management, quality, governance, and implementation within a maintenance environment.
