Warehouse Manager

In this role you will be responsible forall facets of a Warehouse Distribution Center consisting of multiple cells, areas, shifts, and cross-dock logistics.

        Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:

• Leadanddevelopwarehouseandlogisticsteamsbyestablishingclearroles,expectations,andperformancegoalswhilecoachingemployeestoenhancecapabilityandengagement.

• Driveoperationalexcellencebycreatingandexecutingactionplansthatsupportcorporateandfacilityobjectives,utilizingproblem-solving,projectmanagement,andAutolivProductionSystem(APS)principles.

• Fosterapositiveandcollaborativeworkenvironmentacrossfacilities,promotingeffectivecommunication,teamwork,andcontinuousimprovement.

• Overseeshippingandwarehouseoperations,leveragingERP,TMS,WMS,andautomotiveshippingsystems(suchasAutoReleaseandJDEdwards)toensureefficientmaterialflowandcustomerdeliveryperformance.

• Manageunionizedworkforceoperationsandcross-dockactivities,ensuringcompliance,productivity,laborrelationseffectiveness,andoperationalefficiency.

     If you have/are:

• Bachelor’sdegreerequired,with3–5yearsofexperienceinawarehouse,logistics,transportation,oroperationssupervisory/managementrole.

• StrongknowledgeofWarehouseManagementSystems(WMS),withexperienceusingERPplatformsandTransportationManagementSystems(TMS)preferred.

• ProficientinMicrosoftOfficeSuite,withtheabilitytoanalyzeoperationaldata,generatereports,andsupportbusinessdecision-making.

• ExperienceinautomotiveOEMsupplychainenvironments,includingtrucking,materialhandling,andunderstandingofOEM-specificcustomerrequirements.

• Abilitytoworkflexibleschedules,includingweekendsasneeded,withexperienceinJust-in-Time(JIT)operationsandLeanmanufacturingprinciplespreferred.
