Development Engineer

In this role you will be responsible forleadingthetechnicalassessment,validation,andimplementationofdesignchanges,includingdrawingupdates,documentandBOMreleases,suppliertechnicalcoordination,andthedevelopmentandexecutionofvalidationplansandreports.

Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:

• Leadthedesign,development,validation,andreleaseofproductionseatbeltsystems,ensuringcompliancewithcustomerandinternalrequirements.

• Manageengineeringdesignchanges,includingthereleaseofcomponentdrawings,assemblydrawings,BOMs,andtechnicaldocumentationthroughtheAutolivchangemanagementprocess.

• Serveastheprimarytechnicalinterfacewithcustomers,supportingproductdevelopment,implementationactivities,andrelationshipmanagement.

• Plan,execute,andanalyzeDV/PVvalidationtesting,documentingresultsandensuringproductperformance,quality,andregulatorycompliance.

• Collaboratewithcross-functionalteamsincludingProgramManagement,Purchasing,Quality,Manufacturing,andLaunchEngineeringtosupportprojectsfromconceptthroughproductionlaunch.

If you have/are:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineeringorarelatedengineeringfield.

• 2to5yearsofexperienceintheautomotiveindustry,preferablyinproductdesign,productdevelopment,orengineeringroles.

• StrongknowledgeofGD&T(GeometricDimensioning&Tolerancing),StatisticalProcessControl(SPC),andengineeringspecifications.

• ProvenexperienceinRootCauseAnalysismethodologiesandproblem-solvingtools,including8Dcorrectiveactionprocesses.

• AdvancedEnglishproficiency(writtenandverbal),withstrongtechnicalcommunicationskillsandtheabilitytoworkeffectivelyincross-functionalandcustomer-facingenvironments.
