Tax Supervisor

In this role you will be responsible foroverseeing the company’s tax compliance and reporting activities in Mexico, ensuring adherence to applicable tax regulations and corporate policies.

        Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:

• EnsurefullcompliancewithMexicantaxregulations,managingalltaxfilings,reportingrequirements,andstatutoryobligationswhileadaptingtochangingtaxlawsandSATrequirements.

• Managetaxriskandsupportaudits, including coordinating responses to tax authority reviews, audits, information requests,andimplementingcorrectiveactionswhennecessary.

• Overseeaccurateandtimelytaxcomplianceprocesses,ensuringalltaxcalculations,payments,reconciliations,andreportingdeadlinesaremetwithahighlevelofaccuracy.

• Providetaxguidanceandsupportforbusinessoperationsandstrategicinitiatives,includingcross-functionalprojects,organizationalchanges,newbusinessactivities,andprocessimprovements.

• CollaboratewithinternalandexternalstakeholderssuchasFinance,Accounting,Customs,Legal,Operations,auditors,taxadvisors,andgovernmentauthoritiestoensureeffectivetaxplanning,compliance,andreporting.

     If you have/are:

• Bachelor’sdegreeinPublicAccounting,Finance,orarelatedfield,withprofessionalcertificationssuchasCPA,CertifiedTaxSpecialist,orequivalenthighlypreferred.

• Advanced English skills

• Strongexperienceinfederalandlocaltaxcompliance,includingtaxdetermination,taxfilings,taxprovisions,andtaxreportingrequirements.

• Comprehensiveknowledgeofdirectandindirecttaxes,includingCorporateIncomeTax,VAT,withholdingtaxes,localtaxes,andcustoms-relatedtaxmatters.

• Advancedunderstandingoftaxaccounting,financialstatementanalysis,taxreconciliations,internalcontrols,taxriskmanagement,andauditsupport.

• AdvancedproficiencyinExcelandERPsystems(SAP,Oracle,orsimilar),coupledwithstronganalytical,problem-solving,projectmanagement,andcross-functionalleadershipskills.
