IT System Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled IT System Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background across on-premise and cloud infrastructure, network management, and IT operations, with a proactive approach to ensuring system performance, security, and reliability at scale.

Your contribution will be

• Design, implement, and operate IT infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments (Azure)

• Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of systems through proactive monitoring and optimization

• Configure, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure in a hybrid environment (routing, firewalls, VPNs, DNS)

• Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions for on-premise systems

• Implement and maintain endpoint security

• Automate operational tasks and infrastructure provisioning using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, network, and system-level issues

• Collaborate with application developers to support development and delivery

• Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of infrastructure, processes, and standards

• Evaluate and introduce new technologies to improve scalability, performance, and cost efficiency

• Support capacity planning and cost optimization across infrastructure environments

• Own hardware lifecycle and procurement

We need you to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in IT system engineering, infrastructure, or operations roles

• Strong expertise in managing on-premise Linux server environments

• Hands-on experience with Entra ID and Microsoft 365 administration

• Hands-on experience with endpoint management (InTune)

• Hands-on experience withcloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS) and hybrid architectures

• Experience withvirtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM)

• Solid understanding ofnetworking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls)

• Experience withmonitoring, logging, and alerting systems

• Strong knowledge ofsecurity best practices, system hardening, and access management

• Experience withbackup, disaster recovery, and high-availability setups

• Scripting skills (Bash, Python) and automation mindset

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities in complex environments

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Master’s degree in a relevant field

• Certifications such asMicrosoft Certified, AWS/Azure certifications, CompTIA (Network+, Security+), or Cisco (CCNA)

• Experience withcontainerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Knowledge ofDevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

• Experience withinfrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible)

• Exposure toenterprise-scale, high-availability, and distributed systems
