Automation Engineer

We are looking for a

AUTOMATION ENGINEER to strengthen our team in Brașov

Our customers are internationally operating export companies in the technology industry. Your task is to work as an automation designer on our customer projects, being responsible for the quality and schedule of your own work.

You will work in close cooperation with many different stakeholders, such as product managers, project managers, design engineers, clients and suppliers. That is why we expect you to have good interaction and negotiation skills.

We offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. This position requires international travel to client sites for commissioning projects.

In this position your responsibilities will be

• PLC Programming, system integration and other automation engineering tasks

• Supporting testing, commissioning and troubleshooting activities

• Collaboration with project team members, while supporting sales teams and stakeholders with concepts and product solutions maintaining and developing knowledge in our organization

• Be a representative of the company and have technical ownership of assigned tasks or projects

What we expect from you

• You are an automation engineerB.Sc /M.Sc. (Tech.) or you have another applicable degree and you have accumulated competence in automation engineer tasks

• Strong experience with Siemens PLCs and TIA Portal

• Experience in PLC programming, HMI/SCADA and industrial communication networks

• Good knowledge of EPLAN for electrical and control-system documentation

• Ability to read, understand and create electrical schematics and control cabinet documentation

• Experience with testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and system integration

• Knowledge of electrical automation and control systems

• Experience with marine automation systems is an advantage

• Good communication skills, as you will work in cooperation with both your own team and end customers

• Fluent English skills as you are working part of international team /environment

Success in the position requires initiative and organizational skills, as well as a willingness to work in the customer interface. You have good teamwork skills and a desire for continuous development.
