US Capital Markets / Developer - Specialty - 4
Location: Dallas, TX
Onsite Flexibility: Hybrid β onsite 2β3 days/week
Contract Details
- Position Type: Contract
- Contract Duration: 12 months (with possibility of extension)
- Pay Rate: $80.00β$85.00 / Hour (USD)
- Shift / Schedule: 9:00 AM β 5:00 PM, MondayβFriday; standard 37.5 hrs/week (possible OT)

Job Summary
This is aSoftware Developer and technical support role to support the Mortgage Capital Markets (MCM) team within GBME β Fixed Income US in Dallas. The focus will be on the integration between the upstream and downstream systems. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn about MCM and aboutcommercial real estate finance.

Required Skills
- 9 years of experience designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining large-scale applications with complex integrations (experience with modern programming languages such asJava and/orPython; developing and consuming Web Services and APIs)
- 7 years of experience with data technologies and databases, including one or more of the following:PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Apache NiFi, Apache Kafka, Elasticsearch, with the ability to work comfortably with large datasets (experience writing, reading, and executing SQL scripts)
- 2 years of experience with front-end technologies includingAngular, React, and JavaScript
- 5 years of experience with CI/CD and build automation tools such as Maven, Gradle, and Jenkins
- 4 years of experience working with cloud platforms, preferablyGCP, and Kubernetes
- 4 years of experience with test automation (includes SRE monitoring and synthetic monitoring)
- 2 years of experience with SSRS Reporting and PowerBI
- Communication skills

- Previous experience working in mortgage capital markets
- Experience using job scheduling and orchestration tools such as Tidal or Airflow
- Experience using application and infrastructure monitoring tools such as Dynatrace for performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident analysis
- Experience working in an Agile environment, with a solid understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

- Interview process: 2 rounds plus a technical assessment prior to the 1st interview
- A coding/technical assessment will be sent to selected candidates; candidates must complete it prior to the 2nd round in-person interview

- 2nd round: Business Team IT Manager β 1.5 hours β in-person β technical questions
