Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for aSenior Pega Developer / CDH Tech Lead to joinMidland Credit Management on aCustomer Decision Hub (CDH) program. The role demands deep expertise inPega PRPC,CDH decisioning, andenterprise integrations.CSA , CSSA , CPDC certifications are mandatory;LSA ispreferred.

Responsibilities & Skills

• Design and implementintegration solutions forPega CDH applications, includingdata ingestion from upstream systems usingdata jobs,data sets,Kafka, andPega Stream rules.
• Configure and managebackground processing,queue processors,job schedulers,file listeners, andFTP/SFTP connections.
• Implement secure integrations usingOAuth 2.0, includingauthentication profiles,service packages,client registration,token management, andscoped authorization.
• Work onNext-Best-Action (NBA) andNBA containers (real-time and batch); ownPrimary Schedule runs, tunedata flows,concurrency,partitioning, and optimizeInteraction History (IH) and outcome capture.
• Enablereal-time decisioning andevent-driven orchestration: publish/consume viaKafka,Stream,DDS; deliverNBA output data downstream viaREST,MQ/JMS, orKafka topics; implementfeedback loops.
• Develop and consumeREST APIs withinPega (Service REST,Connect REST) witherror mapping,JSON/XML transformation,authentication headers, andcircuit breaker patterns.
• Expertise inPRPC advanced rules, including:
• Complex Activities,Service Packages & Connectors (SOAP/REST/JMS/MQ),Case Management (stages, flows, SLAs),Decisioning Rules (Strategies, Decision Tables, Decision Trees, Scorecards),Advanced Reporting (Report Definitions, custom SQL), andData Model design (class structure, rule resolution, entity relationships).
• ConfigureCustomer Profile Designer (CPD),context dictionaries,profile data sources,audience definitions,real-time containers, andIH data summaries for decisioning at scale.
• ImplementRBAC/ABAC security,encryption,secrets management, and ensureauditability and compliance.
• Optimize performance usingTracer,PAL,Log-Usage,DB tuning,Stream/DDS compaction, and monitor viaPDC/AES; remediatePEGA alerts and caching issues.
• Enforceguardrails,branch quality gates andnon-functional benchmarks.
• LeadDevOps pipelines inPega Deployment Manager, manageversioning/skimming,branching/merging,automated deployments, and coordinatecutovers across environments.
• Act asCDH Tech Lead—review changes, performsolution/design reviews, enforce best practices, estimate stories, prioritize backlogs, mentor developers, and collaborate withBAs,decisioning consultants, anddata engineering teams.
• Establishrunbooks, monitorSLAs, handleincident triage, and drivecontinuous improvement forPrimary Schedule andreal-time decisioning workloads.
• Strong understanding ofintegration patterns,data flows, andCDH concepts likeNBA,Interaction History,engagement policies, andstrategy debugging.
• Excellentproblem-solving skills, ability todebug complex issues, and deep familiarity withAgile/Scrum,CI/CD, andincremental releases.
• Strongcommunication and collaboration skills to operate effectively in afast-paced environment and influence technical direction.
