Job Description

We are seeking an experiencedCamunda Developer to support business process automation initiatives for our clientCognizant. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise inCamunda BPM, workflow orchestration, and integration with enterprise systems. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable process-driven applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy business workflows usingCamunda BPM (BPMN, DMN, CMMN)
• Develop and integrateRESTful APIs with Camunda process engines
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical workflows
• Customize and extend Camunda usingJava / Spring Boot
• Implement process monitoring, error handling, and performance optimization
• Integrate Camunda with external systems, databases, and message queues
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure workflow reliability
• Participate in code reviews, deployments, and production support
• Ensure adherence to best practices in BPM, security, and scalability

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• 3+ years of hands-on experience withCamunda BPM
• Strong knowledge ofBPMN 2.0,DMN, and workflow orchestration
• Proficiency inJava,Spring Boot, andREST APIs
• Experience withMicroservices architecture
• Working knowledge ofSQL / NoSQL databases
• Experience withDocker,Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Camunda certification (Camunda 7 or Camunda 8)
• Experience working with large enterprise clients
• Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems
• Exposure to DevOps and monitoring tools
