Campus Visitation – Administrative Assistant (NFWS)
Position Summary/Purpose:
The Visitation Administrative Assistant provides behind-the-scenes administrative and operational support for the Antelope Reception Center (ARC) and GCU Day teams. This role helps maintain systems, coordinate logistics, manage resources, and support a smooth, welcoming experience for prospective students and their guests.
Primary responsibilities/Accountabilities/Essential Functions:
- Create and distribute ARC daily tour schedules using Sling and SharePoint tour request data; update GCU Day agendas and schedules as needed.
- Monitor tour evaluation and end-of-visit survey feedback; communicate key feedback and staff shoutouts to the team.
- Manage administrative logistics, including campus cart reservations, GCU Live virtual-tour scheduling, Copy Center requests, digital forms, and supply inventory.
- Create, review, and update ARC/GCU Day materials and resources, including tour scripts, certification guides, route maps, agendas, and SharePoint content.
- Support high-volume visit days as needed by assisting ARC, GCU Day, and other Campus Visitation teams; complete required training and certification for ARC tours and GCU Day operations.
Equipment Used and Responsibility:
- Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, and SharePoint
- Sling scheduling platform, GroupMe, digital forms, GCU Live inbox, and campus carts
- Standard office equipment, including computers, printers, phones, and Copy Center materials
Qualifications:Â
- Current GCU student in good academic standing
- Strong organization, communication, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and maintain a professional and service-focused attitude
- Must be available to work a minimum of 15 hours per week; morning availability is preferred
- Previous ARC, GCU Day, Campus Visitation, customer service, or administrative experience preferred
- Valid Drivers License and Clean Driving Record
Experience/Education:
Grand Canyon University is committed to a student first policy. Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:
- Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.
- Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
- Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
Pay Rate: Minimum Wage
