About The Job:
- Experience: 6+ Years
- Domain Preference: Mechanical Engineering (Oil & Gas preferred). Civil Engineering profiles are not suitable.
- Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must have strong hands-on experience in Non-Linear Analysis. Profiles focused primarily on Linear Analysis should not be considered.
Essential Job Functions:
- Perform advanced simulations using ANSYS Workbench, Mechanical, Fluent, CFX, LS-DYNA, Maxwell, and other ANSYS modules.
- Conduct structural, thermal, vibration, fatigue, nonlinear, and dynamic analyses.
- Develop and validate finite element (FE) models based on engineering requirements and test data.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and testing teams to optimize product performance.
- Interpret simulation results and provide engineering recommendations for design improvements.
- Lead root cause analysis and failure investigation activities.
- Establish simulation methodologies, standards, and engineering best practices.
- Mentor junior CAE engineers and review simulation reports.
- Automate simulation workflows using Python, APDL, and scripting tools.
- Support customer discussions, technical reviews, and project planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and engineering regulations.
Qualifications:
Mandatory Skills
- 6+ years of relevant CAE/Simulation experience.
- Strong hands-on experience inANSYS Workbench.
- Expertise inNon-Linear Analysis including Material, Contact, and Geometric Non-Linearity.
- Strong experience in ANSYS Meshing.
- Hands-on experience withSpaceClaim and/orDesignModeler.
- Strong expertise in Static and Dynamic Structural Analysis.
- Experience in Fatigue and Fracture Mechanics.
- Thermal Analysis experience.
- Knowledge of CFD and Multiphysics simulations.
- Experience with Mechanical APDL.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills.
- Experience in Mechanical Engineering domains, preferably Oil & Gas.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Heavy Engineering, Industrial Equipment, Aerospace, or Automotive sectors.
- Knowledge of Design for Reliability (DfR) and optimization techniques.
- Experience in ANSYS customization, scripting, and workflow automation.
- Exposure to HPC (High Performance Computing) environments.
- ANSYS certifications are an added advantage.
- Experience with CAD tools such as CATIA, Creo, NX, or SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of ASME, API, ISO, DNV, and related engineering standards.

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.
