Required

• Any combination of education, training, and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in management, engineering, or a related field, supplemented by coursework in information systems, information technology, and/or electronics.
• One (1) year of experience in providing customer service in an information technology infrastructure environment and project management.
  • Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
• Knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of information technology infrastructure security and access control systems.
• Proficiency with project-related computer applications.
  
• Ability to manage projects, oversee contractor personnel, and prepare and deliver technical training and project presentations.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  

Preferred

• Understanding of IPTV delivery, video streams, media players, set-top boxes, and content distribution.
• Familiarity with multi-networking.
• Experience with digital signage content management systems.
• Knowledge of audiovisual equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot content playback issues
• Understanding of device security and software updates. 

Major Duties/Essential Functions

1. Manages all aspects of information technology infrastructure systems installation or implementation projects involving systems specific to assignment, including management of a project team, scheduling of project events, assigning personnel, and defining associated budget requirements.
2. Works with school-based personnel or department involved with the project.
3. Prepares and delivers required team technical training and project presentations.
4. Schedules training provided by vendors, as needed.
5. Creates and maintains databases relating to specific projects.
6. Keeps current with new technologies in the field of expertise.
7. Works closely with and oversees contractors and vendors during the project.
8. Performs specific duties associated with major installation projects, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
9. Completes work orders and acceptance testing at new and renovation installation sites.
10. Performs related duties as required or assigned.
