Pay Range: $85 - $90/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver instrumentation design for projects, ensuring all deliverables are produced on time and within budget.
• Serve as the lead for instrument design, interfacing with project execution teams.
• Generate deliverables such as instrument index, instrument location layouts, cable schedules, wiring diagrams, analyzer panel design, and more.
• Conduct 3D modeling of equipment usingSmartPlant 3D (SP3D).
• Attend model reviews and support the development of instrument design strategies.
• Review and interpret vendor documents, collaborating with other disciplines to resolve design issues.
• Implement quality procedures and contribute to continuous improvement activities.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in instrumentation design within a relevant industry.
• Knowledge ofSmartPlant 3D (SP3D) and experience withSmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI).
• An Engineering Degree or a Diploma in instrumentation.
• Excellent written and spoken English with strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with generating all instrumentation design deliverables, including wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and layouts.
• Experience preparing control room and analyzer room layouts.
• Ability to interface effectively with other disciplines for finalizing cable layouts and instrument design deliverables.
• Knowledge of global engineering standards and plant layouts.
