Must-Have Competencies
• Strong experience in SQL development, query optimization, and performance tuning
• Hands-on experience in Perl scripting for backend automation and batch jobs
• Exposure to C / C++ backend development
• Strong Unix/Linux and shell scripting skills
• Experience in data processing, batch systems, and ETL-type workflows
• Experience in L2/L3 production support and incident management
Good-to-Have
• Experience in Financial Services / Trading domain
• Exposure to Sybase ASE / Oracle DB environments
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Exposure to Python or automation tools
• Experience in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and batch processing systems
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database interactions
• Build and maintain Perl/Shell scripts for automation and scheduling
• Develop C/C++ components for performance-critical backend modules
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
• Provide L2/L3 production support for backend systems
