Job Summary
We are seeking an experiencedC++ Developer to join our engineering team in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience inC++ software development, object-oriented programming, debugging, and building high-performance, reliable applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications usingC++.
- Develop scalable and high-performance software components.
- Analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Work closely with software architects, developers, QA engineers, and product teams.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Optimize application performance, memory usage, and reliability.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests.
- Troubleshoot production and development issues.
- Contribute to technical documentation and software development best practices.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience withC++.
- Excellent understanding ofObject-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Strong knowledge ofSTL, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience withmultithreading/concurrency.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience withLinux/Unix or Windows development environments.
- Familiarity withGit and modern software development practices.
- Experience with software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with C++11/C++14/C++17 or newer.
- Experience withCMake or similar build systems.
- Knowledge ofPython or scripting.
- Experience withREST APIs, networking, or distributed systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and automated testing.
- Experience working with performance-critical applications.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
