Role Description
This role requires a strong Business Systems Analyst with hands-on API expertise across REST/SOAP, YAML/Swagger, JSON/XML/XSD, Postman/SOAPUI, and complex cross-system data mapping.
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
- Create high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, functional specifications, and related project documentation.
- Facilitate requirements workshops, stakeholder meetings, and backlog grooming sessions.
- Support the design and delivery of a new Azure-native solution for the Convenience Checks initiative.
- Work across multiple enterprise applications and platforms, including:
- BCM
- DCM
- MoEngage
- Point
- UAD
- ActOne
- Services Management
- Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, developers, QA teams, and business users.
- Analyze impacts across systems and identify dependencies, risks, and integration points.
- Leverage AI tools to improve analysis, documentation, requirements management, and overall delivery efficiency.
- Drive work independently with minimal oversight while maintaining alignment with project objectives and timelines.
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst in enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in:
- User story creation and backlog management
- Requirements elicitation and documentation
- Business process analysis
- Functional and technical documentation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage both business and technical audiences.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to quickly learn new business domains, applications, and technologies.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based applications and modern software development practices.
- Experience supporting multi-system initiatives involving integrations across several platforms.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies and Azure-native application development.
- Familiarity with payments, financial services, or transaction processing environments.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, AI-assisted documentation and analysis tools) to improve productivity and delivery outcomes.
- Experience supporting enterprise modernization or digital transformation initiatives.
- Business and system requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
