About Daptic
Daptic is building the future of regulatory intelligence, with the mission to empower global manufacturers to navigate complex regulations seamlessly and accelerate the global launch of physical products.
With government regulations and standards becoming increasingly complex, product delays and innovation roadblocks are more common than ever. Daptic automates the identification and analysis of relevant regulations, standards, and product requirements, allowing R&D teams to focus on what they do best: creating groundbreaking products within automotive, aerospace, construction, medicine and healthcare, and beyond.
Currently, with a small focused team, we’re proud to be supporting the development of products used by over 100 million people worldwide.
We’ve secured over $22M in total funding from Canvas Ventures, IA Ventures, 8VC, and other institutional investors who believe in our vision to revolutionize product development.
The Role
As a member of the Business Operations team at Daptic, you’ll have a broad mandate across the company: driving high-priority initiatives, informing leadership decisions, and running the operating rhythm of the business. You’ll work in whichever part of the company needs it most, and the projects will vary: standing up a new function, opening a new office, building internal analytics alongside engineering, or supporting the executive team on planning, finance, and vendor work.
The role is intentionally broad and will change with the company’s needs, and much of the work will be taking on the projects that do not yet have an owner. Over time you can stay broad or deepen into a specialization. You’ll work directly with company leadership and across every function.
We’re looking for exceptionally talented generalists: strategic thinkers who can zoom out to set direction and dive into the details with the operational excellence to see it through.
Core Responsibilities
Drive Company Initiatives
Own cross-functional projects end to end, from scoping and analysis through execution.
Turn ambiguous goals into plans with clear owners, timelines, and measures of success.
Take on the ad hoc projects that come with a growing company, from opening a new office to negotiating a major vendor contract.
Inform Decision-Making
Generate insights through research and analysis, and write the proposals and recommendations leadership acts on.
Build the KPIs, dashboards, and reports the company runs on, and use them to track progress against the plan.
Run the Operating Rhythm and Build What Is Missing
Design and run the company’s planning and review cycles, including quarterly planning, business reviews, and board preparation.
Identify gaps and inefficiencies before they become problems, and build the processes and tooling to close them.
Incubate new internal functions and processes, and hand them off as dedicated owners join.
What We’re Looking For
Requirements
2-5+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, or business operations at a high-growth startup, with a strong blend of analytical, strategic, and cross-functional expertise.
Demonstrated technical acumen and the ability to grasp our highly technical product, whether through a technical education or extensive experience with complex data or computer programming.
Experience building with AI, with AI already part of how you work day to day.
Available to work in our office in New York City at least 4 days a week.
Open to travel (0% - 25%) as required to support business needs.
What We Value
You bring structure to unstructured problems. Given an open-ended question with no obvious frame, you build one and work from it.
Strong attention to detail and a “110% mindset” in all tasks.
Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights.
Exceptional communication skills, written, verbal, and visual, for both internal and customer-facing audiences.
Comfort managing multiple projects simultaneously, with an ability to quickly switch contexts.
Experience thriving in unstructured environments, demonstrating adaptability and initiative.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals in a fast-paced, technical environment, such as early promotions or top-of-cohort ratings.
