Business Execution Consultant - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Execution Consultant - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.

This role involves consulting as an expert to influence initiatives for highly complex business and technical needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and operationalizing multi-year strategies for complex organizations, ideally with domain experience in payments or financial services. This position requires crafting strategic frameworks, creating executive-ready narratives, and interfacing directly with senior domain leaders to translate ambiguity into structured outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Consult as an expert to develop or influence initiatives and resources for highly complex business and technical needs across Business Execution
• Consult on the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas
• Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, and advanced analytical and inductive thinking
• Provide expertise to senior leadership on innovative Business Execution business solutions
• Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring a solid understanding of the business group's functional area or products
• Facilitate decision-making and issue resolution, and support the implementation of developed solutions and plans
• Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
• Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group

Requirements:

• 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
• Proven experience developing multi-year strategies for large, complex organizations
• Ability to design and articulate strategy frameworks (vision, North Star, themes, roadmaps, value levers)
• Strong capability to translate ambiguity into structured, fact-based strategic narratives
• Exceptional skill in creating executive-ready decks, narratives, and decision materials
• Ability to synthesize inputs from multiple stakeholders into clear, concise leadership messaging
• Comfort interfacing directly with senior leaders and domain experts
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess options, trade-offs, and impacts
• Strong collaboration skills across business, technology, risk, and operations
• High comfort operating in complex, evolving environments with limited direction

Desired skills:

• Previous consulting background with the ability to manage multiple products
• Payments domain experience (e.g., ACH, wires, instant payments, investigations, servicing, controls)
• Experience supporting integration planning, roadmap development, and sequencing of initiatives
• Familiarity with execution governance, dependency management, and progress tracking
• Ability to bridge strategy and delivery to ensure intent is preserved through execution

Pay range:$71.88 - $79.88 per hour
