📍 Location: Baltimore, MD 21231 (Point Street)
🕒 Duration: 12 Months (Contract)
💼 Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
💲 Pay Rate: $38/hr

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Business Development Specialist to support pricing, contracting, and customer data management activities within a dynamic energy-focused environment.

This role works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data handling, support sales operations, and maintain compliance with utility requirements. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, communicates effectively, and demonstrates strong analytical and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate pricing and contracting activities in support of the sales team
• Maintain and update customer data with a high degree of accuracy
• Ensure compliance with utility requirements and internal processes
• Provide technical and operational support to internal stakeholders
• Communicate clearly and professionally via email and phone
• Support CRM data management and reporting efforts
• Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism

Required Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience with PayClearly (required)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the energy or utilities industry
• Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems
• Bachelor's degree (preferred, not required)
• Experience supporting sales, pricing, or contracting functions

Work Environment

• Full-time role based in Providence, RI
• Collaborative, team-oriented, and fast-paced environment
