Business Development Representative / Technology Consultant
Pay:$40,000 base, plus commissions
Location:Utica/Rome, NY and Syracuse, NY offices (with additional offices throughout NYS)
Employment Type:Full-time

Our client is hiring for two connected roles on their sales team: aBusiness Development Representative and aTechnology Consultant. Both are great entry points into a long-term B2B sales career, offering unlimited income potential, hands-on mentorship, and the chance to build a satisfying, lucrative career in business technology sales. No overnight travel is required, and no prior experience is necessary — training and mentorship are provided every step of the way. The services and hardware you'd offer clients include IT services and software, printing and mailing hardware, document management, and more.

Business Development Representative:
This role begins as an inside sales position, setting qualified meetings over the phone and via email with new prospective clients. You'll work closely with a Senior Technology Consultant who provides training and mentorship, and you'll also have the opportunity to work with clients in the field to learn the fundamentals of B2B sales and account management. This position is on a promotion track to Account Executive within 6–18 months.

Technology Consultant:
This role offers personalized training to make you an expert in business technology sales, with a hybrid schedule combining in-office days with work-from-home and field time. Many peers in this position have stayed with the company for many years, building long-term, rewarding careers.

Experience:
Associates or bachelors degree 
1+ years of sales experience 
Recent graduates with a passion for sales encouraged to apply
