Business Development Manager
PuroClean of Plant City | Plant City, FL
Compensation: $40,000–$100,000 per year
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 8-hour shifts
Location: Plant City, FL | Field-Based / On the Road
Pay Structure: Base Salary + Commission
About PuroClean- PuroClean is a growing, family-focused property restoration company dedicated to helping homeowners, businesses, and communities recover from unexpected property damage. Known as the “Paramedics of Property Damage,” we specialize in water damage restoration, fire and smoke damage cleanup, mold remediation, and other property restoration services.
What You'll Do As our Business Development Representative, you'll play a key role in expanding PuroClean's presence throughout the local market. You'll build relationships with referral partners, identify new business opportunities, and help connect customers with the restoration services they need. Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop New Business: Identify, pursue, and cultivate new business opportunities throughout the assigned territory.
- Build Referral Partnerships: Establish and maintain relationships with insurance professionals, property managers, real estate agents, contractors, facility managers, and other potential referral partners.
- Grow Existing Accounts: Maintain consistent contact with current partners to strengthen relationships and generate repeat business.
- Network in the Community: Attend networking events, business meetings, trade shows, industry functions, and community events.
- Promote Our Services: Educate prospective partners and customers about PuroClean's restoration capabilities and the value we provide.
- Generate Qualified Leads: Use prospecting, networking, outreach, and relationship-building to create new business opportunities.
- Manage Your Pipeline: Schedule meetings, conduct presentations, follow up with prospects, and track business development activities.
- Develop Growth Strategies: Identify opportunities to increase referrals, expand market share, and strengthen our local presence.
- Collaborate With Our Team: Work closely with management and operations to help deliver an outstanding customer experience.
- Represent PuroClean: Build a professional reputation that reflects our commitment to integrity, reliability, and exceptional service.
Qualifications
- Required: Previous experience in the property restoration industry.
- Previous experience in sales, business development, marketing, account management, or a related role.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus.
