Business Development Coordinator, Wealth Management
Austin, TX | Remote, Austin based, with occasional in person work
We're hiring a Business Development Coordinator to run the prospect pipeline for a wealth management firm in Austin: inbound lead response, booking and scheduling meetings, follow up outreach, CRM, and sales meeting prep.$60,000 to $75,000 base salary plus $10,000 to $30,000 in incentives, up to $105,000 total.
Our leads come to us inbound. You'll respond fast, qualify them, and stay with every lead who hasn't booked or falls off the calendar until they're back on it.
This is a client development role for someone who loves the phone, owns a process end to end, and gets energy from turning a new lead into a well prepared, well attended meeting.
You will own the prospect journey at Socha Capital: from the moment a lead comes in, through screening, scheduling, meeting preparation, notes and follow up, document requests, and signed paperwork. You will also run the CEO's calendar so his time goes to the meetings that matter most. If you want to be measured, rewarded for results, and trusted with work that directly drives the firm's growth, keep reading.
About Socha Capital
Socha Capital is a multi family office advisory firm serving entrepreneurs, business builders, and executives, with aggregate client value of more than $5 billion. Our clients expect precision and exceptional execution, and so do we.
Everything we do runs on four core values:
Growth: we demand more of ourselves than anyone else would, and we improve every quarter.
Communication: we over communicate, raise issues early, and bring solutions, not problems.
Reliability: we do what we say we will do, every time.
Respect: we treat clients and each other with respect, and we are hard on performance, never on people.
What you'll own
Lead intake and screening
Respond to every new lead the same business day, phone first, then text and email.
Conduct screening calls to gather key facts (goals, timing, income, liquidity, and situation) so the CEO walks into every meeting prepared.
Reach out persistently to leads who haven't booked or who fell off the calendar until they are back on it or clearly closed out.
Scheduling and the CEO's calendar
Book and schedule every prospect and sales meeting, turning qualified leads into meetings on the CEO's calendar, and manage his overall calendar using our Calendar Logic SOP.
Confirm every meeting through a sequence of calls, texts, and emails so show rates stay high and last minute changes are rare.
Block time on the CEO's calendar for the homework each meeting requires, with everything he needs attached.
Meeting preparation
Build and maintain a prospect folder for every lead.
Prepare a concise brief before each sales meeting: who they are, what they need, what was discussed before, and what Jeff must decide or deliver.
Meeting notes and insights
Process notes from every prospect meeting within 24 hours, using AI tools where approved.
Pull out the specific data points, pain points, and open questions that shape the next conversation, and feed them into the next prep brief and the CRM.
Follow up and documents
Own every follow up after a meeting: next steps, promised materials, and reminders.
Request, track, and organize prospect documents, chasing each until it is received and filed.
Prepare and send DocuSign packages and track them to completion.
Keep filing organized so anyone on the team can find anything in seconds.
CRM and reporting
Keep Redtail current every day: every call, meeting, note, document, and next step logged.
Report weekly on the pipeline: leads received, contacted, booked, held, and advanced.
Improvement and other projects
Turn lessons into SOPs kept in one live location.
Find better ways to work, including AI and automation, and bring them forward.
Take on additional projects as capacity allows.
How success is measured
Speed to lead:Every new lead contacted the same business day, by phone first
Meetings held:Qualified prospect meetings held each month, against a target set quarterly
Show rate: Few no shows and rare last minute reschedules
Meeting readiness:Prospect folder and prep brief ready 24 hours before every sales meeting
Notes processed:Notes, data, and pain points captured within 24 hours of every meeting
Follow up closed:Every promised item, document request, and DocuSign tracked to completio
Reengagement: Every lead who falls off the calendar contacted again on a set cadence
CRM accuracy:Redtail current every day, with no gaps
Communication:Every request acknowledged the same day, with status and next step
What you bring
2+ years in client development, inside sales, business development, or client service, ideally in wealth management, private banking, luxury real estate, or another high end service business.
Confidence on the phone with affluent people. You can ask about money directly and warmly, and you don't give up on a follow up.
CRM discipline. You log everything, every day, without being reminded.
Strong writing. Prep briefs and follow up emails that are short, clear, and accurate.
Comfort with technology and AI tools, including note taking and summarizing tools, Microsoft 365, Teams, and DocuSign. Redtail experience is a plus.
Precision at speed. You catch the details others miss and still move fast.
Availability for what matters. When a high value prospect reaches out in the evening, you handle it that night.
If you've worked as a sales development representative, business development representative, inside sales representative, sales coordinator, or client service associate at a financial advisory firm, private bank, or other high end service business, this role builds directly on that experience. We're looking for a warm, polished, professional presence with executives and affluent clients.
Compensation and benefits
Base salary: $60,000 to $75,000, depending on experience and demonstrated results.
Sales support incentives: an additional $10,000 to $30,000 a year, paid quarterly, tied to the measures above, including meetings held, show rate, and follow up completion.
Total target compensation: $70,000 to $105,000, with the top of the range earned by top performance.
Benefits: a health reimbursement arrangement and unlimited PTO with approval.
Growth: direct exposure to how a high performing wealth firm wins and serves clients, with more responsibility as you prove yourself.
Who thrives here, and who won't
You'll thrive if you demand more of yourself than anyone else will, take direct feedback and act on it, own your mistakes with a fix, love a clean pipeline and a full calendar, and see remote work as more focus, not fewer hours.
This isn't for you if you want a predictable 9 to 5, need constant reassurance, wait to be told what's next, or would rather email than pick up the phone.
