Job Description:
The Supply Chain Operations Specialist will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions in a hybrid work environment in Greenville, US. The role requires a strong background in supply chain management and technical expertise to ensure seamless application development and support. The specialist will engage with stakeholders, manage application governance, and coordinate cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain operations.
 
Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or IS
• At least 5 years of experience in business application development and support, specifically in Supply Chain solutions

• Strong communication (written and verbal)
• Continuous learning (AI and new technology adaptation)
• High attention to detail

• Leadership style that influences and builds support with business and key stakeholders
• Ability to anticipate downstream consequences of decisions
• Capability to articulate the rationale behind technical strategies

• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between the business (Supply Chain/Customs/Logistics) and the technical teams (developers, QA, and product owners). Be the primary point of contact for escalation and project progress reporting with the group.
• Customs Subject Matter Expertise: Partner with the Business to define/understand the requirements, As-Is and To Be Processes. Own the Customs Application landscape, ensuring these tools meet business requirements.
• Application Governance: Strictly adhere to the CTO SOP for New System Introduction, guiding new tools through the standardized 13-step onboarding process, including security assessments (3PS), architecture reviews, and infrastructure setup.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Manage communications and open issues across various groups, including the ERP deployment team and other internal DT teams/external contractors. Provide valuable feedback, guidance to the different teams, and a methodical approach to project execution and issue resolution.
