Business Analyst with Wealth Management Experience

Our client, aleading global digital consulting and technology services company, is looking to hire aBusiness Analyst with Wealth Management Experience. This role is based inMinneapolis, MN, and is hybrid(three days a week onsite)

• We are looking for a Wealth Management Business Analyst with system conversion and data conversion experience in this securities processing space.
• The ideal candidates are expert, cross-functional collaborators responsible for defining the business product requirements, prioritizing initiatives, managing the product life cycle, and working closely with many teams across the organization within our client's organization (both client and vendors).

• Detailed experience in the trading SDLC, ability to hone desires to core requirements/needs and to impart knowledge to internal and client teams
• Understanding of wealth management and broker-dealer operations
• Research business requirements, document user stories, test cases, and collaborate with the core team of developers to estimate the level of effort
• Lead design discussions with users, technical and functional stakeholders to analyze business functionality, technical evaluation, integration, and data needs to clarify, refine, and document requirements
• Create detailed business / functional requirements documents and work closely with the development teams to ensure products meet the business needs
• Differentiate user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements
• Work with business owners to convert high-level business and user requirements into prioritized business and functional requirements
• Strong analytical and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to translate requirements into product features, user stories and tasks in JIRA/Aha!

• Knowledge of Trading regulations and reporting (Client, SEC, CATS, OAT)
• Working understanding of order execution systems and buying power rules
• Strong analytical, technical, verbal, and written communication skills
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and track multiple tasks to successful completion
• Experience in data migration, system conversions, and systems/data migration
• Technical writing skills and documented experience authoring source-to-target data mapping and end-user documentation
• Experience identifying data conversion requirements and creating data mapping, data cleansing, and data conversion approach documents and performing data migration and data integration
• Experience in documenting REST API request and response files, Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications Documents (FSD), Non-functional Requirements Document and Use Cases Specifications
• Experience working with a globally distributed team
• Use analytical and interpersonal skills to reconcile conflicts, cope with rapidly changing information, and convert high-level information into detailed requirements
• Differentiate user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements
• Work with business owners to convert high-level business and user requirements into functional requirements and prioritize requirements
• Identify ways to assist the business in product planning through requirements development/analysis
• Research business requirements, document user stories, test cases, and collaborate with Core team of developers to estimate the level of effort
• Lead design discussions with users, technical and functional stakeholders to analyze business functionality, technical evaluation, integration, and data needs to clarify, refine and document requirements
• Thorough understanding of how to translate requirements into product features, user stories and tasks

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5-7 years of professional business analysis experience, with strong relationship management, account management, and support experience.
• Experience working with external clients
• Knowledge of Agile and iterative development methodologies
• Understanding of current technologies and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Ability to obtain, understand and respond strategically to client needs.
• Highly detail oriented, well organized, and able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Experience working in the consulting industry
• Understanding of complex Internet-based enterprise-level applications
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Track record of delivering on time, on budget, and meeting client commitments
