Business Analyst

Location: Tallahassee, FL (Hybrid)

Scope of Services

Seeking for a Business analyst to support the modernization of Human Resources (HR) business processes. This role involves enhancing HR workflows with a custom application using ReactJS and .NET Clean Architecture. You'll work closely with the HR Office and Office of Work Program and Budget to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and ensure quality assurance.

Experience

• Minimum of 6 years in business analysis, requirements engineering, and quality assurance documentation.
• Professional experience in workflow automation and human resources systems applications is preferred.

Primary Job Duties / Tasks

• Develop project schedules and implementation plans for HR automation releases.
• Analyze and document current business processes and redesign them for automation.
• Translate business requirements into detailed documents and functional specifications.
• Facilitate sessions with HR experts to gather and prioritize requirements.
• Perform data analysis and document data requirements.
• Manage user stories and project backlog in Azure DevOps.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles and document findings.
• Produce comprehensive documentation including project schedules, business requirements, and test plans.

Job Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Knowledge of HR business processes and state government workflow practices.
• Ability to produce detailed functional documentation.
• Skill in testing complex applications and ensuring requirements are met.
• Experience with Agile Project Management and SCRUM Framework.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.

Preferred KSAs

• Experience with state government HR systems, payroll systems, or position management applications.
• Skill in data analysis and validation techniques.
