Lead Business Analyst - Regulatory Reporting

We are seeking aLead Business Analyst - Regulatory Reporting to support non-financial regulatory reporting projects, including EMIR, and provide consulting services focused on root cause analysis, solution design, and stakeholder governance across global regulatory regimes.

Responsibilities

• Establish project governance structures and align them with existing delivery frameworks
• Set up working groups and management forums as required
• Conduct root cause analysis into reporting issues and recommend tactical or strategic remediation solutions
• Document agreed-upon solutions as formal business requirements for stakeholder sign-off
• Define requirements for back-reporting of impacted trade populations where relevant
• Handover documented requirements to technology and operations teams for resolution
• Prepare solution design documentation in coordination with operations and engineering teams
• Support user acceptance testing ahead of production releases
• Validate delivered solutions to confirm they meet business requirements and resolve the underlying issue
• Provide weekly progress metrics to the governance function
• Communicate project progress and RAIDs, including escalation routes, through OpCo and SteerCo management forums

Requirements

• 10-14 years of overall experience in IT, with a strong background in business analysis
• Expertise in requirement gathering and documentation, including BRD and FRD
• Skills in stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination
• Background in regulatory reporting across OTC and ETD products
• Knowledge of US regulatory regimes such as CFTC and SEC
• Knowledge of EMEA regulatory regimes such as MIFID, MiFIR, SFTR, EMIR, and MMSR
• Familiarity with APAC regulatory regimes such as MAS, ASIC, HKMA, and JFSA
