🧾 Summary
A Business Analyst with 5–8 years of experience in the Procure to Pay (P2P) domain is responsible for driving procurement transformation initiatives, analyzing and improving procurement processes, and ensuring alignment with business goals. This role requires strong domain knowledge in procurement systems such as SAP, Ariba, JDE, or Maximo, and a solid understanding of Source-to-Pay and Invoice-to-Pay processes.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Conduct gap analysis and facilitate benefits/value realization discussions with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Process Design Managers (PDMs), and technical teams to define detailed business requirements.
- Create and validate business cases and secure stakeholder sign-off.
- Align process design decisions with Global Process Owners (GPOs) and cross-functional teams (IT, Operations, Testing).
- Identify opportunities for process simplification and automation.
- Support training teams with documentation and process change communication.
- Perform data analysis and reporting to track project value realization.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and standards.
- Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure successful implementation of P2P solutions.
🧠 Required Skills & Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on procurement or P2P processes.
- Hands-on experience with procurement tools such as SAP, Ariba, JDE, or Maximo.
- Strong understanding of Source-to-Pay and Invoice-to-Pay workflows.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies, including working with features, sprints, user stories, and tools like Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Ability to work with global teams and manage cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience in creating BRDs, conducting UAT, and supporting change management.
🧩 Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Certification in Agile, Six Sigma, or Procurement (e.g., CIPS, PMP) is a plus.
- Experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and process mining is advantageous.
