- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Guidewire implementations and enhancements from underwriters, product managers, and policy operations teams
- Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project scope and objectives.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and workflows aligned with Guidewire modules.
- PolicyCenter Configuration Alignment: Map out policy lifecycle processes like submissions, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and reinstatements.
- Product & Rating Setup: Assist in configuring the product model (lines of business, coverages, exclusions) and rating engines/rate tables.
- Integration & Data Mapping: Define data mapping and integration requirements between PolicyCenter and external systems (Billing Center, Claim Center, or third-party data providers)
- Support UAT planning, execution, and defect tracking in collaboration with QA teams.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, and user story demonstrations and other Agile ceremonies as required
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst in Guidewire Insurance Suite projects.
- Solid understanding of P&C insurance concepts, coverages, deductibles, and underwriting workflows
- Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and process-mapping software like Visio
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
- Certification in Guidewire or Business Analysis is a plus
