Job Title:Business Analyst
Location:Fairfax, VA • Lafayette, LA • Knoxville, TN
Salary:$56,600.00–$139,300.00 per annum
Job Summary
We are seeking a Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will gather and document requirements, analyze business needs, support testing, and help ensure that software solutions meet business objectives.Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, project managers, and end users to clarify business needs.
- Translate business requirements into user stories, tasks, and actionable development requirements.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings and Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions.
- Support functional and integration testing, including test cases and user acceptance testing.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, reports, and user guides.
- Support Agile delivery and different phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Manage multiple tasks and projects while meeting deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or Information Systems Management.
- Experience with SQL, Agile methodologies, user stories, and test scripts.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to business and development teams.
