Business Analyst

About The Job:

• We are seeking an experienced and proactive Business Analyst with 5–8 years of professional experience to act as a critical link between business stakeholders, project managers, and technology teams.
• The ideal candidate will possess strong business analysis expertise, Agile delivery experience, and a solid understanding of data engineering and AI/ML concepts.
• This role requires an individual who can effectively gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translate them into actionable user stories, and support the successful delivery of technology solutions.
• The candidate should be comfortable working in cross-functional Agile teams and have hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for backlog and sprint management.

Essential Job Functions:

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and project managers.
• Bridge gaps between business and technology teams and translate requirements into user stories.
• Drive Agile ceremonies and support sprint and backlog management.
• Understand data pipelines, migrations, and AI/ML models.
• Hands-on experience withAzure DevOps (Mandatory).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, product owners, and technical teams to understand business objectives and identify solution requirements.
• Conduct workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirement analysis sessions.
• Document functional and non-functional requirements in a clear and structured manner.
• Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), process flows, and use cases.
• Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for optimization and automation.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as a liaison between business users and technology teams.
• Facilitate communication between cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular project updates.
• Assist in prioritizing business requirements based on value, impact, and feasibility.

Agile Delivery & Product Support

• Drive Agile ceremonies including:
  • Sprint Planning
  • Daily Stand-ups
  • Sprint Reviews
  • Sprint Retrospectives
  • Backlog Refinement Sessions
• Support Product Owners in maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog.
• Translate business requirements into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams throughout the sprint lifecycle.
• Track sprint progress and resolve requirement-related blockers.

Data & Technology Analysis

• Develop a strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, data pipelines, and data migration initiatives.
• Analyze source-to-target mappings and data transformation requirements.
• Work closely with data engineers, architects, and developers to validate business and technical requirements.
• Support data quality, governance, and reporting initiatives.
• Participate in data migration and system modernization programs.

AI/ML & Emerging Technology Enablement

• Understand AI/ML concepts, model lifecycle processes, and business use cases.
• Collaborate with data science and AI teams to gather and document AI-related business requirements.
• Assist in defining business success metrics for AI/ML initiatives.
• Evaluate opportunities where AI-driven solutions can improve business outcomes and operational efficiency.

Azure DevOps Management

• Utilize Azure DevOps for:
  • Backlog Management
  • Sprint Planning
  • User Story Creation
  • Task Tracking
  • Requirement Traceability
  • Defect Management
• Monitor work items and maintain accurate sprint documentation.
• Generate reports and dashboards to track project progress and delivery metrics.

Testing & Validation

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
• Prepare test scenarios and validate developed solutions against business requirements.
• Assist stakeholders during testing cycles and issue resolution.
• Ensure solutions meet agreed acceptance criteria before deployment.

Qualifications:

• Required Experience: 5-8 Years

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Agile environments.
• Strong experience in requirement elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Hands-on experience working with Azure DevOps.
• Experience managing Agile ceremonies and supporting product backlog management.
• Ability to convert business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, data migration, and data governance concepts.
• Exposure to AI/ML projects and business applications of artificial intelligence.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
