Position Title: Business Analyst
Location: 6230 E Stassney Ln, Austin, TX 78744
Duration: 12-month
Work Schedule: work hours of 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Responsibilities:
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems to make business more effective. Familiar with industry standard business process mapping, and reengineering. Prepares solution options, risk Page 6 of 43 identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
Minimum (Required):Years Skills/Experience 7 Experience in the field or in a related area as a senior Business Analyst (Technical). 7 Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures. 2 Experience as a data analyst analyzing raw data using Excel, Tableau, etc.
Preferred (Optional):Years Skills/Experience  Experience with one or more Texas state agencies.
