Job Description – Guidewire Business Analyst

Role: Guidewire Business Analyst – P&C Insurance
Experience: 5+ years
Location: India
Employment: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements for P&C Insurance applications.
• Work with business stakeholders, Underwriting, Claims, Billing and IT teams.
• Prepare BRD/FRD, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows and functional specifications.
• Work on Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter and ClaimCenter.
• Analyze insurance processes including Policy, Rating, Underwriting, Billing, Claims, Renewals, Endorsements and Cancellations.
• Support functional, integration and UAT activities.
• Perform gap analysis and translate business requirements into Guidewire solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog grooming and stakeholder discussions.
• Coordinate with development and QA teams for issue resolution and successful releases.

Must Have

• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience.
• Strong P&C Insurance domain knowledge.
• Hands-on knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter / BillingCenter / ClaimCenter.
• Experience with requirements gathering, user stories and UAT.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum.
• Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills.
