Work Schedule:Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

The Worker will perform advanced (senior-level) business analysis work related to implementing complex, emerging technology hardware and software projects to support the Mainframe Reports and Extract effort at the Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC).
Duties involve use of multiple methods in gathering, developing, and documenting requirements; the review, assessment, and development of business processes; the creation and validation of user acceptance testing; and research and special project support provided to users. This role will work under limited to minimal direction, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
This position will be responsible for analysis and documentation in the implementation of multiple interrelated projects related to reports. The focus of the work is intended to be data-related, including data analysis, root cause analysis of data errors, data flow documentation, report developments, and data posting on the DIR Open Data Portal or on RRC website. Requires knowledge and background in Power BI, Snowflake and data publishing. Ensures that deliverables and materials are produced and maintained in accordance with established processes and procedures, are of consistent quality, and use accepted business analysis methodologies. May assign and/or supervise the work of others. Works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. . - CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity.Years Required/Preferred Experience 8 Required Strong interpersonal, collaborative, analytical, written/verbal/ presentation communication skills in English 8 Required Experience in gathering requirements and creating reports 8 Required Facilitating creation and analysis of business requirements and working with business area personnel to design technical solutions 5 Required Participating in and providing guidance to business and in developing and completing user acceptance testing, training, and implementation-related activities 2 Required Experience with Snowflake and Power BI 2 Preferred Experience in Oil and Gas industry
