Business Analyst

Job Overview

We are seeking a mid-level Business Analyst to lead requirements gathering, analyze business processes, and support solution delivery throughout the project lifecycle. This role will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business needs into clear requirements and support solution validation, testing, and process improvement.

Job Duties

• Lead requirements elicitation sessions with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Analyze and document business processes, workflows, system interactions, and functional requirements.
• Develop business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure solutions align with business needs.
• Support testing activities, including test case development, functionality validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate workshops, demonstrations, and project meetings to maintain stakeholder alignment.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for business stakeholders throughout project execution.
• Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Mentor junior Business Analysts and contribute to documentation and requirements management standards.

Job Requirements

• 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Strong understanding of business process modeling, requirements elicitation techniques, and documentation standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, and requirements management platforms such as Azure DevOps and Jira.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, including familiarity with writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Knowledge of SQL for data analysis and validation.
• Exposure to Azure DevOps for backlog management and traceability.
