Bulk Lube & DEF Delivery Driver with CDL

Job Description

Position Overview:The purpose of this position is to transport and deliverbulk and packageDEF and bulkpackagelubricant products to customers by applying knowledge of products, commercial driving regulations and roads in the area. Responsible for the efficient delivery of DEF and lubricants throughout an assigned territory,maintain warehouse inventory andproviding a premium level of customer service. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

 Include but are not limited to 

• Providetimely,efficient and safe delivery of products to customers 

• Communicate with customers about DEF and bulk lube products 

• Build andmaintain relationships with customers 

• Collaborate with team to build unity and helpaccomplish company goals 

• Perform all dutiesin accordance with company policies and procedures, andcomply with all federal, state, and local regulations for the safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle 

• Maneuver fuel hoses in, around and through all types of equipment, asrequired 

• Provide support to other Energy positions 

• Assist with updating inventory and keep warehouse in order 

• Load and unload customers using a forklift 

• Pick up products from local vendors 

Skills and Qualifications: 

• Mustpossess a valid commercial class A or B driver’s license with tanker and hazmat endorsements 

• Must have no less than two yearsprevious commercial driving experience 

• Basic computer skills, and the ability toutilize technology to enhance job performance 

• Must have the ability to read, write and perform simple mathematical calculations, with the ability to handle receipts, read maps, road signs,maintain record of duty status,etc 

• Must have working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems 

• Must have knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection, and maintenance 

• Ability to safetyoperate a forklift 

• Must meet or exceed the medical standards of the US Department of Transportation 

• Good judgment with the ability to maketimely and sound decisions 

• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person, on the phone, electronically, or through other means to individuals and groups 

• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work extended hours andpossible weekends during peak seasons within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm 

• Familiar with Microsoft Office products 

Physical Requirements: 

• Must be able to sit and remain alert while driving for an extended period 

• Must be able to enter and exit the truck cabfrequently, including climbing ladders 

• Must be able to spend at least 50% of the day standing, 50% of the day walking on surfaces such as bare ground, gravel, concrete, wood, and metal 

• Must be able to maneuver fuel hoses in, around and through all types of equipment and environments asrequired 

• May spend up to 50% of the time out of doors exposed to potentially difficult environmental conditions 

• Ability tolift up to 50lbs 

• May be subject to irregular work schedules, temperature, weather and outside environment extremes, long trips, short notice for assignments, tight delivery schedules, delays in route and other stresses and fatigues related to driving commercial motor vehicles on crowded streets and highways in all kinds of weather
