The Operations Finance Director is a senior leadership role reporting to the Senior Director, Operations Finance. This role serves as a strategic finance partner to key global functional leaders, driving performance, productivity, and value creation initiatives across Cytiva.

The role provides financial leadership, analytics, and decision support to enable effective execution of business priorities. Working closely with cross-functional partners, the Operations Finance Director identifies opportunities to improve business performance, translates complex data into actionable insights, and drives accountability for results across the organization.

This position reports to the Senior Director, Finance, Operations Finance and is located in Budapest, Hungary and will be an on-site role. 

What you will do:

• Partner with global functional leaders to drive productivity, business performance, and value creation initiatives across Cytiva.
• Lead financial analysis, performance reviews, and forecasting processes to identify opportunities, risks, and actions that improve business outcomes.
• Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations that support leadership decision-making, operational effectiveness, and business objectives.
• Develop business cases, scenario models, and financial impact assessments to provide strategic decision support and evaluate improvement opportunities.
• Drive visibility into key performance indicators and business drivers by linking operational activities, productivity initiatives, and resource utilization to financial outcomes.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on productivity, operational effectiveness, and value creation, while ensuring benefits are measured, validated, and communicated.
• Ensure accountability, continuous improvement, and compliance with Cytiva and Danaher financial policies, controls, governance requirements, and performance management mechanisms.

Who you are:

• Significant experience in finance, business partnering, or performance management roles within a complex global organization.
• Experience leading or supporting productivity, business improvement, value creation, and cross-functional projects in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze large and complex datasets, identify business drivers, and translate findings into actionable insights and measurable recommendations.
• Strong financial acumen combined with commercial and operational business understanding.
• Experience influencing business decisions and driving alignment across functions and leadership levels, including without direct authority.
• Experience developing executive-level presentations and business narratives that communicate complex analyses clearly.
• Proven track record of maintaining high standards of integrity, compliance, and financial rigor.
